Some good news for residents in Quinte West, as the city has decided to offer free public skating again, throughout the winter.
Free skating dates will be available three days a week at the Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens and two days a week at the Frankford Dr. McMullen Community Centre.
Families who attend are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the local food bank.
The free skating sessions start this weekend, you can find a full schedule below.
Free Public Skating at Duncan McDonald Memorial Community Gardens in Trenton
Saturdays: 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (Except December 30th, January 13th, January 20th)
Sundays: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (Except December 24th, January 14th, January 21st)
Tusdays: 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Except November 14th, January 2nd, March 13th)
Free Public Skating at Dr. McMullen Community Centre in Frankford
Sundays: 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. (Except December 24th, January 14th and January 21st)
Wednesdays: 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
