An important milestone has been reached for a program aimed at helping young people in need pursue post-secondary education.
On Saturday, the annual Ken Sykes Kommunity Ties 5K Run/Walk raised $12,800 for the Children’s Foundation Reach for Success Bursary Awards Program.
Since the Ken Sykes event began, over $100,000 has been raised to help young people in the care of the Highland Shores CAS further their education.
