The region’s major shopping centre had to close early last night, after a man pepper sprayed another man.
The Quinte Mall was evacuated by mall security, firefighters, and police around 7:30 last night.
The pepper spray was released near the entrance to the Winners store.
Paramedics treated people near the incident on the scene, including a 6 week old baby.
Two other people were taken to hospital and were treated and released. No one was seriously injured.
Police are looking for a while man between the ages of 25 and 35 who was wearing a ball cap, a white sleeveless shirt, shorts, and flip flops.
