Three people are facing charges following an investigation into an abandoned car near Bancroft in July.
On the 15th, Bancroft OPP were called to a home in Highlands East, where a home owner did not want a vehicle left on his property.
Officers found numerous items in the vehicle and determined them to be stolen from various areas in the province.
Kyle Visser, 32-years-old, of Scarborough Ontario has been charged with the following offences:
Obstruct Peace Officer
Two (2) counts of Fail to Comply with Conditions of Undertaking Given by Officer in Charge
Fourteen (14) counts of Use of Credit card
Twelve (12) counts of Possession Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
Two (2) counts of Fail to comply with Probation Order
Produce a Schedule II Substance and,
Five (5) counts of Driving while under suspension.
Possession Break in Instruments
Furthermore, Laura Austin, 36-years-old, of Whitby Ontario has been charged with:
Use of Credit Card
Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
Possession Break in Instruments
Four (4) counts of Possession Property Obtained by Crime under $5000
Possession of a Schedule I substance
Use plate not authorized for vehicle
Austin was held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville Ontario on September 1, 2017.
The investigation is still on going at this time.
