We have enjoyed glorious summer weather in September.
Yesterday (Friday), according to Environment Canada, we reached a steamy high of 26.4 degrees celsius.
As warm as that is for this time of year, it wasn’t a new record.
The high temperature record for a September 15 in the Quinte region was set in 1991, when the mercury
topped out at 28.7 degrees.
The record high for today (September 16) is 28.9 degrees, set in 1941. The predicted high for today is 27.
