Police continue to look for the senior citizen who was in the car fugitive Ugo Fredette of Quebec stole to begin his flight from justice along with his child Louka Fredette.
Late yesterday afternoon (Friday), members of Napanee, Bancroft, and other OPP detachments, along with canine, helicopter, and emergency response teams followed Fredette as he travelled through the Napanee area, to the Denbigh region and beyond.
His car was stopped with the use of a spike belt on Highway 41, southwest of Renfrew.
He ran, but was quickly caught by police. His six year old son was in good condition.
The body of the boy’s 41 year old mother had been found in Quebec previously.
Police are still looking for 71 year old Yvon Lacasse of Quebec.
