This upcoming weekend is expected to be a busy one locally and for a great cause.
It is the Terry Fox run, with events slated for Belleville, Trenton, Stirling, Tweed, Napanee, Marmora and Bancroft on Sunday.

BELLEVILLE
Registration: 8:30 a.m. Open Start: 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Location: Lion’s Pavilion at West Zwick’s Park
What will be provided: Complimentary snacks for breakfast, coffee, bottled water, and a BBQ, crafts for kids and a radio DJ.
Bicycle, stroller, rollerblade and wheelchair accessible, dog friendly but dogs must be on leash.
Route distance: 1 loop will equal 3.11 km, 1 km route
MARMORA
Registration Opens: 9:30 a.m. Open Start: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Location: Marmora Memorial Park
Main intersection: Highway 7 and Highway 14
Free parking is available
Refreshments will be provided
Route Information: Bicycle, stroller, rollerblade and wheelchair accessible. Dogs must be on-leash
Route distance: 1.5 km – 2 km
BANCROFT
Registration Opens: 8:00 a.m. Open Start: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Location: Bancroft Millennium Park
Pledge sheets are available at the Bancroft District Chamber of Commerce, Bancroft Fitness Centre, Trips and Trails and Vance Motors.
Route Information: Once over the Millennium Park bridge, participants go left around Riverside Park, loop in front of the Post Office, turn in front of the Town Office (Railway Station), follow Heritage Trail to Bancroft Ridge Golf Course road.
For the five kilometre route, participants turn approximately half way down the golf course road and return to Millennium Park.
For the 10 kilometre route, participants continue along the golf course road to again meet up with the Heritage Trail, following the trail to the “Y” road, then turn and return to Millennium Park.
Bicycle and stroller accessible and dog friendly. Route distance: 5 km and 10 km
NAPANEE
Location: Napanee Mall – 450 Centre Street North Open Start: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Route Information: Accessible to bikes, blades, wheelchairs. Dogs are welcome.
Route distance: 5 km, 10 km.
STIRLING-RAWDON
Registration: 8:00 a.m. Run Start: 9:00 a.m. Location: Stirling Arena – 435 West Front Street
Parking is available, water will be provided

Route distance: 1 km, 5 km and 10 km
QUINTE WEST
Registration: 8:00 a.m. Open Start: 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. NEW Location: Trenton RecPlex – CFB Trenton

TWEED
