Belleville city council will decide whether or not to hire a contractor to do
major infrastructure upgrades on parts of three streets in an older neighbourhood at its meeting tomorrow.
Council will see a staff recommending H & H Construction of Petawawa get the job of replacing sewer/water lines, building new sidewalks, and repaving stretches of Strachan, Cameron, and South Park Streets.
H & H Construction provided the lowest of two bids for the work at $1.92 million plus tax.
Belleville council meets tomorrow afternoon (Monday) at 4 p.m. at City Hall.
