A Belleville man was arrested early Thursday after a landlord and his spouse were allegedly threatened by a tenant.
Officers were called to a west hill residence just before 6:30 a.m.
Police say the couple received threats of physical violence and to burn their property down.
There were also several text messages sent to them.
A 44-year-old Belleville man is charged with two counts of Criminal Harassment and two counts of Uttering Threats.
He’s been held for a Show Cause Hearing.
