It’s on to the semi finals for Belleville native Jackie Jarrell and the Canadians at the World Women’s In-Line Hockey Championships in China.
Although Jarrell was held off the scoresheet, Canada did beat New Zealand 3-1 in today’s quarter final. Jarrell has 5 goals in the championship.
Canada will play the U.S. in one semi-final tomorrow. Spain and the Czech Republic play in the other.
This is Jarrell’s 10th World Championship. She has 2 gold, 6 silver and a bronze medal from her previous nine.
