One of several Quinte region people arrested as part of a big drug and weapons bust last February
has pleaded guilty to a transfer of a prohibited weapon charge.
Thirty-three-year-old Jesse Hill of Tyendinaga was sentenced to 90 days in jail, to be served on weekends,
2 years probation, and a 10 year weapons prohibition last week at the Quinte Consolidated Courthouse.
He was also ordered to give a sample to the DNA bank.
Hill was one of several people, many local, charged in a multi-jurisdictional police operation called Project Silkstone.
Most of the others charged remain before the courts.
