Things won’t be the same out on the streets this morning (Tuesday). It’s the day after Labour Day and thousands of kids and their parents will be scrambling to get set for the first day of the school year.
Be careful driving, and be sure to stop no matter which direction you’re going, for school buses with their red warning lights flashing and stop arm extended. Failure to do so can lead to fines ranging from $400 to $2,000.
And, be mindful that excited kids will be out walking and sometimes running and not always paying attention to their surroundings.
