Proposals for a condominium and commercial building on the property the Hotel Quinte once stood on in downtown Belleville are before the city’s planning department.
The plans, which have not been approved by the city, show a six-storey building with approximately 100 condo units and ground floor space for seven commercial units.
The plans call for some of the building’s exterior to be similar to that of the historic hotel which burned down in 2012.
The up-to $30 million project includes underground parking and an outdoor courtyard.
The plans for the building, to be known as “The Pinnacle” will be before Belleville’s Committee of Adjustment later this month for minor variance.
