Belleville’s two new deputy fire chiefs were officially sworn in at city council this week.
Mayor Taso Christopher performed the official ceremony at city hall for deputy Fire Chief of Administration Paul Patry and Don Corbett, Deputy Fire Chief of Operations.
They replace Ray Ellis who retired recently and Bruce Greatrix who retires at the end of this year.
Corbett is a graduate of the Fire Service Management program at Dalhousie University and has spent time working as the Deputy Fire Chief of Operations in Kingston, while Patry graduated from the same program at Algonquin College and also worked most recently in Kingston, as Chief Fire Prevention Officer.
