There was a heavy police presence on Tracey Park Drive in west end Belleville last evening (Monday).
Police received a call about a group of people fighting outside of a housing complex, saying one man was carrying a firearm.
Officers and Belleville’s Emergency Response Team responded, some with weapons drawn, set up containment and cleared and searched several residences nearby.
Nothing was found, and an investigation continues.
The incident began just before 6 last evening.
