Liberal MP Neil Ellis is once again giving a unique opportunity to young people in the Quinte Region with an interest in politics, leadership and making a difference in the community.
Applications are now being accepted for spots on the Bay of Quinte Constituency Youth Council, which is a non-partisan group, meeting every one to two months, to discuss issues that are important to local youth.
Ellis says the council gives him a chance to hear a diverse set of perspectives about the issues facing people in the community and the initiative falls in line with Prime Minister Trudeau’s commitment to engaging youth and ensuring their voices are heard.
Applications are due September 30th and can be picked up at 100 Station Street, or via MP Ellis’ Facebook page or website.
