A Deseronto man faces charges of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon, and uttering threats to cause bodily harm after a violent incident last Thursday evening (August 24)
OPP and Tyendinaga Mohawk police responded to a disturbance in a housing complex on Highway 49 around 9:30 between two men who knew each other.
Police arrested 52 year old Charles Nicholas. The 46 year old victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
He appears in Belleville court this Tuesday.
