It is a special weekend in Napanee, not only for local residents, but for us here at Quinte News as well.
One of our own, David Mills, known as Buzz Collins on Rock 107, lost his 15 year old son Garrett, after a soccer goal post fell on him back in May.
To remember Garrett, dozens of volunteers have put together the first annual Garrettfest.
It is going from 1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Sunday and will also support a scholarship in Garrett’s name, for a student at Napanee District Secondary.
Mills says there is lots taking place during the celebrations.
