Another overnight, another incident involving a tractor trailer on the 401 eastbound in the Quinte region.
Last night, a load of graphite went up in flames in the trailer of a truck on the 401 east, at Trenton.
Quinte West Fire Chief John Whalen says the driver managed to unhook the tractor from the trailer, driving it away to safety.
The fire broke out shortly after 9 last night.
Quinte West firefighters had the flames doused by 11 and no one was injured.
One lane of the 401 east was closed for a while last night, but traffic still got through.
