It was a quick summer like normal for NHL’ers, and for many including Belleville’s Andrew Shaw, it is back to the big city.
Shaw, who recently got married, tells Quinte News it is a quick turn around in the off season, with only a few short weeks to spend with family and friends.
He says his first season in Montreal was a bit of an adjustment.
Shaw is just 26, however he already has two Stanley Cup rings and an OHL championship under his belt.
He has also played in two of the most fanatical hockey markets in the NHL (Chicago and Montreal).
The Habs forward says although he is still in the early stages of his career, he is trying to take on leadership responsibilities.
