Sudden thunderstorms early yesterday afternoon (Tuesday) seemed to be bad luck for a couple of drivers in Belleville.
City police, firefighters, and ambulance personnel responded to two accidents involving vehicles slamming into poles.
One was near Corbyville on River Road. Two people were injured and had to be extricated from their vehicle.
The other single vehicle collision occurred shortly after the first, on Dundas East near Herchimer Avenue. A man suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, Belleville police report several unlocked vehicles were entered yesterday and wallets and electronics were stolen.
