Another big hockey tournament could be coming to the City of Quinte West in the fall.
At its meeting tonight, council will be asked to approve hosting this year’s Eastern Canada Cup Junior ‘A’ Tournament in November.
The three day tournament features 10 all star teams from five eastern Canadian provinces and possibly another team from the north.
Over 200 scouts are expected to attend, some from NHL teams.
The most it would cost the city to host the tournament would be $20,000.
Quinte West council meets tonight (Monday) at 6:30 at City Hall.
