Motorcycle flees
On Saturday evening at 6:54, officers on patrol in the east end of Belleville attempted to conduct a traffic stop with a motorcycle which then failed to stop and proceeded to flee the area. The motorcycle is described as a black and silver sport motorcycle. The driver was wearing a black helmet, black leather coat, black backpack and blue jeans. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the driver is asked to contact Cst. Lannin at 613-966-0882 ext. 4146.
False Baby Alarm
A potential crisis turned somewhat humorous for Belleville Police yesterday.
Around 7:40 Saturday evening, police received a call regarding two sleeping babies left in a car with the windows rolled up in a grocery store parking lot.
The responding officers quickly determined that the “babies” were actually dolls.
