The man accused of murdering a Belleville native in Burlington will face trial in June of next year.
According to The Hamilton Spectator, Malcolm Copeland of Markham, will go to trial for the stabbing
death of 32 year old Elizabeth Nugent back in October of 2014 at her Burlington apartment.
Copeland, who turns 45 on Monday, is facing a second degree murder charge and is now represented by high-profile Toronto lawyer Edward Sapiano.
The trial begins June 4.
