Local OPP detachments are notifying shop owners to be on the lookout for a recent rash of B and Es.
Officers say hair salons and spas have been broken into at a higher rate than normal.
They all see front glass doors being smashed and having inadequate or no alarm systems. Some are not visible from the parking lot or road and many were ransacked.
The OPP say suspects appear to be targeting cash and hair products.
