A car and SUV collide on Thursday afternoon in Belleville on Coleman Street
Several crashes in Belleville slowed down the drive home in Belleville Thursday afternoon.
Around 5:20 p.m., city police were called to Dundas Street East, where a woman in her 30s was struck by a car, while she was crossing the road.
She was injured, however the injuries are not life threatening.
No charges were laid.
Shortly after 6:00 p.m., officers responded to Catherine Street and Octavia, where a southbound vehicle went through a stop sign, hitting the other vehicle.
A vehicle then struck a tree, and another a fire hydrant.
Minor injuries were reported.
Finally one car ran into the back of an SUV on Coleman Street, north of Bridge West. There was no report of serious injuries in that collision.
