Residents of Hastings-Lennox and Addington will soon benefit from millions in Federal Gas Tax Fund investments.
On Tuesday, MP Mike Bossio announced the riding will receive $2,484,305 for municipal infrastructure like local roads, sports and recreation facilities and tourism infrastructure.
Bossio said the funding is important for infrastructure and economic development.
Recognizing that the annual funds aren’t ‘huge buckets of money,’ Bossio said that’s why his government fought so hard to get the recently announced $2 billion commitment to rural and northern municipal infrastructure.
