A tornado watch and severe thunderstorm warning issued for the Quinte region ended Friday evening.
Environment Canada issued the watch Friday afternoon for Belleville, Quinte West and Prince Edward County.
The watch stated conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms which may produce tornadoes.
Severe thunderstorms were said to be likely Friday afternoon and early evening. The special weather statements ended shortly after 6 p.m.
