It’s been a long night for some volunteer firefighters in Prince Edward County.
A big stack of square straw bales caught fire in a farm field on the Wilson Road around
9:30 last night.
Firefighters and equipment from Wellington and Consecon responded and were on scene
dousing deep seated hot spots until around 4 o’clock this morning.
There were no injuries or other property damage.
Wilson Road is about 2 kilometres north of Wellington.
