An 88-year-old man’s body was pulled from the Bay of Quinte Thursday morning after a family member discovered him in the water.
Just before 6:30 a.m., the man’s family discovered he was missing from his home on Rednersville Road (County Road 3), just west of Barley Road.
Prince Edward OPP Constable Kim Guthrie said officers were called in to assist, then the family went out looking for the man and found him in the water near County Road 3.
Guthrie said a post mortem will be conducted to assist the investigation but his death is not considered suspicious.
