A 33-year-old Prince Edward County woman is facing serious driving related charges after being stopped Monday afternoon on County Road 11 commonly known as East Lake Road.
According to police, they pulled over a vehicle travelling 50 kilometres per hour over the speed limit.
Testing at the detachment confirmed the driver’s blood alcohol was over the legal limit.
Trista Rabbe of South Marysburgh has been charged with operating a motor vehicle with over 80 mg of alcohol in her blood and stunt driving.
Her vehicle has been impounded for seven days and her licence immediately suspended for 90 days.
She has an August 16 court date.
