The Beach Volleyball World Championships are taking place in Vienna Austria and a Quinte area native is taking part.
Ryan Vandenburg and his partner Aaron Nusbaum will compete in the round robin, starting Friday.
The Quinte Christian grad and his partner will play another Canadian duo in their pool this morning.
There are four Canadian teams in the tournament.
