A Belleville man charged with fleeing police back in December, has been sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Back on December 8 2016, Quinte West OPP were doing a focused patrol on suspended drivers, when they attempted to pull over a car on Glen Miller Road.
The officers followed the vehicle onto the eastbound 401, however the driver did not stop.
Police determined the identity of the driver and they arrested a Belleville man at his home.
58 year old Raymond Baker was been charged with flight from police, resisting a peace officer, and four counts of driving under suspension.
Baker was sentenced to the month in jail and a one year driving prohibition.
Several of the charges were withdrawn.
