If you sell a product, two words you’ll always like will be “sold out”.
And, “sold out” is exactly what a big new development is in downtown Belleville, and it didn’t take long.
All 34 condos, ranging in price from $165,000 to $340,000, have been spoken for.
One of the three partners in the project, realtor Sean McKinney says 70% of the units will be owner occupied with the rest being held and rented as an investment or rented until the owner is ready to move in.
The other partners are Ross McDougall and Peter Knudsen.
Construction, which is ongoing, started in the middle of last year and should be finished by the end of this year. In September, a fitness centre will open on the main floor.
The condominiums are on the top three floors of the five-storey building with the lower two floors remaining for commercial use.
McKinney says there was a lot of interest in the project and with the upgrades ongoing in downtown Belleville he hopes there will be more residential in and around The Village.
And of course there will be, as a BC developer plans to build a condominium building, with commercial space, on the former Hotel Quinte property.
