The Belleville Senators now have a logo.
Tuesday afternoon during a special reception, COO Rob Mullowney, General Manager Randy Lee, and team VP Roger Lajoie were on hand to unveil the crest which will be on the Belleville Senators jersey.
They also premiered a video which is available below.
Dignitaries at the event included Belleville Mayor Taso Christopher, Quinte West Mayor Jim Harrison, CFB Trenton Base Commander Mark Goulden, city councillors, staff, Sens employees and other invited guests.
The teams official word mark was released as well.
“Our goal was to create a symbol that is transcendent,” said Rob Mullowney, Chief Operating Officer of the Belleville Senators. “Our fans will come from many different regions, backgrounds, cultures and lifestyles, and we hope to create a home for them all within our team. This emblem is intended to appeal broadly, no matter who is wearing it, how they are wearing it, or what they are wearing it on.”
