Prince Edward County will discuss a road use agreement with a wind farm developer at its regular meeting tomorrow evening.
Recently, the Environmental Review Tribunal approved a much reduced industrial wind turbine project for WPD White Pines on the south shore of the county.
The Tribunal only allowed a 9 turbine project instead of the 27 proposed by WPD.
Now, Prince Edward County council will be asked to approve an amended and scaled back “road users”
agreement with the company.
The agreement sets out the county’s and the company’s responsibilities regarding repairs and maintenance of roads and other property involved in the construction and operation of the wind turbines.
Prince Edward County council meets tomorrow evening (Tuesday) at 7 o’clock at Shire Hall.
