A 30 year old woman from Napanee faces a serious charge after a young child was left inside a parked vehicle in Belleville early last evening.
City police were called shortly after 7 after someone spotted the distressed child inside the vehicle at a Bell Boulevard parking lot.
The child was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment. The child was later released.
The woman was charged with Failing to Provide the Necessaries of Life.
