One person has been arrested and a warrant is out for another, after a robbery in Napanee, on the weekend.
Napanee OPP say a couple was walking on Robert Street around 5:00 Sunday night, when a Jeep Patriot pulled up beside them and another couple got out and snatched the woman’s purse.
Investigators say the victims knew who the attackers were and that the man was carrying a weapon.
This afternoon police arrested 37 year-old Cory Maxwell of Napanee and charged him with robbery, assault with a weapon, uttering death threats and two counts of breaching probation.
A warrant is out for 43 year-old Shelly Barcier, of Napanee, on similar charges.
