The Belleville Fire Department is welcoming two new deputy chiefs.
Don Corbett and Paul Patry were officially named to the roles this week and will start work in the city effective July 31st.
Corbett is a graduate of the Fire Service Management program at Dalhousie University and has spent time working as the Deputy Fire Chief of Operations in Kingston, while Patry graduated from the same program at Algonquin College and also worked most recently in Kingston, as Chief Fire Prevention Officer.
CAO Rick Kester says the pair both have impressive resumes and demonstrate a vast knowledge of day-to-day operations and administration of the fire department.
The pair will officially be welcomed by Belleville Council on August 28th.
