Community Care Northumberland has announced its Volunteer of the Year award.
The James Bryson Memorial award has been presented to Brighton volunteer John Embregts.
Community Care executive director Trish Baird says Embregts joined the board of directors more than 10 years ago, representing the Brighton area.
Baird said he was an active member of the board and pointed to his financial knowledge as being helpful to the board.
