Letters of support, messages of love, and condolences continue to pour in for the family of a Belleville girl who died last week, while vacationing in Cuba.
18 year old Alex Sagriff, a recent graduate of St Theresa Secondary, was on an organized vacation (S-Trip) with fellow grads to Cuba, where she was discovered Thursday evening.
In a statement over the weekend (see below), the Sagriff family asked for privacy during this most difficult time and say their main focus is to bring Alex home.
No details have been released at this time regarding a funeral or celebration of life, however Quinte News will pass those along, with family wishes regarding a memorial.
