The Trenton Golden Hawks have rounded out their coaching staff with the addition of Stirling’s Patrick Shearer.
Shearer joins Todd Reid as an assistant under new Trenton coach and general manager Marty Abrams. Shearer spent ten years coaching in the Quinte “AAA” Regional Minor Hockey system where he led the Quinte Minor Midget Red Devils to the OHL Cup.
Last year Shearer was an assistant coach of the Kingston Voyageurs and head coach of the Pickering Panthers for a short time before that.
