In celebration of Canada’s 150 anniversary one of Quinte West’s oldest schools, Wallbridge Public School, is holding a special reunion.
Spokesperson Alex McNaught says the SS #13 Sidney School opened in 1825 and closed in 1969, 144 years of schooling.
SCHOOL
The school house is now a private residence but McNaught says the owners will welcome the former students and encourage photo-taking on the front step.
The Wallbridge School reunion is set for Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Wallbridge and Westminster United Church.
