Prince Edward OPP is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying three men said to be responsible for a violent home invasion early Wednesday morning.
Police report that on July 5 at 1:20 a.m. three unknown suspects armed with weapons forced their way into an apartment on County Road #10 just outside Picton.
Once inside, the three men reportedly ransacked the apartment and stole approximately $150 in cash.
The three men are described as six feet tall. Two were thin and the third is described as a heavy build. All three wore disguises to conceal their identity.
The OPP Canine Unit and OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) attempted to track the suspects with unsuccessful results. Prince Edward County OPP Crime Unit and OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit (FISU) are assisting with this investigation.
