Prince Edward County has received a national award for a marketing initiative promoting The County as an LGBT friendly area.
Director of Community Development Neil Carbone says they were the backdrop for the Best Photograph at LGBT Tourism Marketing Awards.
A Toronto based photographer took a picture of a lesbian couple reconnecting in Prince Edward County.
The award was given by Travel Gay Canada for the photo.
