Although the Yardmen Arena is closed for renovations, the landscape inside is really starting to take shape.

The Yardmen Arena is the future home of the Belleville Senators of the American Hockey League. In less than four months, this site will house professional hockey.
Project Manager Peter Lyng says they have been focusing on the arena floor.
Lyng says there are a lot of layers over the insulation.

He says once the floor is ready to pour, they want to give it as much time as possible.

Lyng says the Senators’ and visitors’ dressing rooms are well underway.
Suites will be one of the last things to be installed, while many of the electronics for the facility have arrived.
Both team dressing rooms are being worked on and lower bleachers and concession areas are also being worked on at the same time.
Lyng says they are keeping the ice surface at the same height as before.
