If you are planning on going out boating on the Trent Severn Waterway this Canada Day weekend, make sure to take extra precaution.
Ongoing rain has resulted in high water levels across the entire Trent Severn and watershed, with some of the highest flows expected from Lock 27 at Youngs Point, to Lock 1 in Trenton.
Parks Canada is advising extra caution for boaters going out on the water between 7 p.m. and 8 a.m., as water levels will increase most during this time.
