People in Centre Hastings and area might see an important improvement coming to the Tri-Area Medical Centre in Madoc soon.
STL Diagnostic Imaging, a company which provides a mobile X-ray service, is asking the provincial government for approval to set up at the centre.
Mayor of Centre Hastings Tom Deline says all the company needs is free space for the machines and staff and that has been approved by the medical centre board.
The mobile x-ray service would be in Madoc up to 3 days a week, or as demand warrants.
