A collision involving a horse trailer on the eastbound 401 near Glen Miller Road in Quinte West slowed up the Saturday night commute for motorists.
Emergency vehicles responded to the scene just before 11 last night and discovered the trailer had been tipped on its side.
Fortunately, there were no horses in the trailer. The driver of the truck carrying the trailer managed to get out unharmed.
There were no injuries reported.
