Rain has put a bit of a damper on an event at the Children’s Safety Village in Belleville tonight.
Organizers have had to cancel the “Schools Out For Summer” event, since the village is slightly waterlogged and it would be unsafe to have kids running around it this evening.
Plans to reschedule are in the works, for some time in September, as a back to school event.
Meanwhile all sports fields in Quinte West will be closed tonight due to the rain.
